구성주의 교사양성 프로그램의 영향으로 인한 예비 과학교사들의 구성중의 교수 · 학습관의 개발

Abstract

본 연구는 예비교사들이 구성주의 교사양성 프로그램에 참가하면서 학습한 구성주의 인식론을 어떠한 의미로 내면화하는지를 조사하였다. 7명의 예비교사들과 사전과 사후 두 차례에 걸쳐서 심층 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 예비교사들의 수행한 현장연구 보고서와 방법론 수업관찰 자료 등을 분석하였다. 본 구성주의 예비교사 양성 프로그램은 수업 실제에서 구성주의 학습이론을 실천함으로써 구성주의를 교사교육에서 적용하고 있다. 연구에 참가한 예비교사들은 전통적 교수 · 학습관을 사전개념으로 지니고 있었으며, 구성주의를 과학하는 방법을 전달할 수 있는 학습이론 또는 개념변화 학습으로 이해하고 있었다. 또한 예비교사들은 구성주의 학습이론에 입각한 바람직한 교사의 역할은 학생들의 이해를 돕는 것이라고 주장하였다. 예비교사들의 교수 · 학습관의 변화를 가져온 동인과 그들이 바라는 사범대학의 개선방향도 논의되었다. This research investigated how pre-service teachers internationalized constructivist epistemology as they experienced a constructivist teacher education program. Data from pre- and post-interviews with seven pre-service teachers, students' action research reports, and classroom observations of a methods course were used to analyze the features of the program and students' meaning construction. This pre-service teacher education program employs constructivist aspects of teacher education and generates applications of constructivism to the practice of teaching. Participants had traditional pedagogy as their prior beliefs, and internalized constructivist learning theory as the way to teach doing science' or conceptual change learning.
