Abstract

This paper presents the developmental stages of Korean EFL learners, based on Shin (2000, 2004) and Hahn (2000). It is important for those who develop the textbook and those who (will) teach English to understand the developmental stages, since it provides a foundation for the individualized, student-centered education, and encourages the students to keep their interest in English.
