규장각 소장 의궤(儀軌)의 현황과 특징

Abstract

본고는 규장각한국학연구원(이하 규장각)에 소장된 의궤(儀軌)의 현황과 주요 특징을 정리한 것이다. 규장각에는 총 1,567건, 2,897책의 의궤가 소장되어 있다. 이중 유일본 의궤는 모두 117종으로, 『선원보략수정의궤(璿源譜略修正儀軌)』류가 54종이고, 그 밖의 유일본 의궤가 63종이다.

본 연구를 통해 확인한 규장각 소장 의궤들의 특징을 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 의궤의 목차 구성이나 기록 방식 등이 정형화된 체재를 갖추게 되는 것은 대략 17세기 후반 이후이다. 둘째, 규장각 소장 의궤에 찍혀 있는 관인(官印)으로는 봉사지인(奉使之印)과 일품봉사지인(一品奉使之印)이 가장 많으며, 그 밖에 의궤 편찬 기관이나 소장처의 관인이 찍힌 경우도 있다.

셋째, 의궤의 분상처는 제작 건수에 따라 차이가 나타나며, 또 의궤의 주제·내용에 따라 특정 기관에 분상되는 경우도 있었다. 넷째, 고종 친정(親政)이 시작된 1873년(고종 10) 이후에는 세자시강원에 올려지는 예람용(禮覽用) 의궤가 별도로 제작되었다.

This paper is focused on the present condition and distinct features of Euigwe(儀軌) housed in Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies (KIKS). KIKS has a collection of 2,897 volumes of Euigwe. Among the KIKSs collections of Euigwe there are 117 kinds of a unique Euigwe, 54 kinds of them are Seonwon boryak sujeong euigwe (璿源譜略修正儀軌).

In this paper I found 4 distinct features of KIKSs collections of Euigwe. First, the

standard format and way of writing of Euigwe were established after the late 17th century. Second, the most of official seals put on the KIKSs collections of Euigwe

are Bongsajiin (奉使之印) and Ilpum Bongsajiin (一品奉使之印). And there are

some cases that sealed the stamps of the officials where compiled and housed the

Euigwes. Third, the officials that store Euigwes dpended on how many Euigwes were

compiled. And there were some special storage officials according to the themes and

contents of Euigwes. Fourth, from 1873 when king Kojong (高宗) himself assume the

rule of dynasty, the compilation of Euigwes for crown prince began.
