국사편찬위원회 소장 『國有地調査書(抄)』에 대하여

Abstract

이 글에서는 국사편찬위원회에 소장되어 있는 유일본 『국유지조사서(초)』의 전체 구성과 내용에 대하여 간략하게 살펴보았다. 나아가 국유지의 이속과 분정에 관한 사례를 경선궁을 통해 고찰함으로써 궁방전을 포함하는 역둔토의 20세기 초 상황에 대한 연구에서 감안해야 할 사항을 추가로 확인하였다. 1997년에 김재호에 의해 학계에 소개된 『국유지조사서(초)』에 대한 전반적 재검토를 뒤늦게나마 수행함으로써 향후 관련 분야의 연구가 진전되는 데 기여하고자 한 것이다. 『국유지조사서(초)』의 전산 DB를 다각도로 활용한다면, 보다 유용한 정보를 도출해낼 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

The present paper introduces Kugyuji Chosasŏ, an investigation report on stateowned land in early twentieth century Korea. Kugyuji Chosasŏis a unique manuscript that is now housed in the National Institute of Korean History. Jae-Ho Kim, a well-known economic historian, performed the first research on this material in 1997. However, the whole structure and features of this document have not been presented to the public. The present paper attempts to provide details on the forms, fields, and contents of Kugyuji Chosasŏto contribute to the advancement of finance-related research in Korean history. In addition, an application example was suggested through the Kyŏngsŏnung case. There is no doubt that we can easily find more useful information in many areas of interest using the Kugyuji Chosasŏelectronic database.
