DISCREPANCY OF HLA TYPING RESULTS OF UNRELATED STEM CELL DONORS BETWEEN REGISTRY TYPING AND CONFIRMATORY TYPING

Abstract

Aim: HLA-matched donor search is an essential component in unrelated hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, and accuracy of registry typing (RT) of donors is important for timely search and coordination of matched donors. We analyzed discrepancies of HLA typing results between confirmatory typing (CT) and RT of stem cell donors from Korean and foreign registries.
