dc.description.abstractA new design field called 'eDesign' appears as if eBiz is an online related business in which an industrialized design creates the individual added value facing a digital revolution. The field of eDesign requires a special design process and management methodology because human sensitivity will be satisfied through a dehumanized computer technique. In this study. we developed an eDeslgn platform based on an eDesign process and template mainly focused on
eBusiness. The template is a kind of document that has a standardization form and is sometimes called a form. In addition, an eDesign platform is a foundation and infra to perform an eDesign.
The method cf this study was processed by the field research, case study, literature research, and analyzing the research. The problems of the current eDesign platform were investigated through in-depth analysis. It was especially
investigated because it makes a lot of communication errors because of a lack of documentizing and is difficult to share information and knowledge due to a lack of common platform to share information and store DB. It shows that a
designer who is reluctant to make a document will especially be required to have a sample of a document with a standardization form.
An eDesign process consists of 6 stages in the proceeding project, such as initialization, conceptualization, visualization, implementation, verification, and maintaining and repairing. The visualization of the process of an eDesign project
that has the properties of modulization, frequent and concurrent occurring, fleedback, and joint work was performed as an explanatory note by considering its method that include the stages, roles. inputs and outputs, information formats, and factors in the decision making.
An index of information. framework of information, identity factors of an enterprise, and storing location of a template were considered to produce a template to apply for a project effectively and were mapped to each process
according to its stage. It makes it possible to recognize what kinds of products are produced from the process to build a DB and to produce a document that comes and goes in an organization based on a standardization form by supplying a template to the designer.
It makes it possible to have a systematic control of its own projects within and outside the firm, accumulating information for the firm through the database, and easy communication. Furthermore, it can be applied to check the process of the project as a checklist, and then it will reduce trial and error repeated lor every project that has been done. Therefore, a visualized process and production of a template will improve an eDesign platform that will be a basis to perform an eDesign project effectively. We propose a standard of eDesign platform that can be widely applied to the field of design, medium and small
enterprises focused on IT businesses or designteam through this project performed as an educational-industrial study. It makes It possible to get a detailed process methodology, which can be applied to many small design related companies that don't have their own process yet, and will be a scale for comparing their own process in which the company has a process of opened standard eDesign with it.
성공하는 기업의 열쇠는 사람에 달려있다는 말은 새삼
스럽지 않다. 기업 구성원이 갖고 있는 노하우가 축적되면서 기업의 경쟁력을 구성하기 때문이다. 그러나 평생 직장이란 개념 대신 평생직종이 새로운 키워드로 떠오르는 변화단계에 진입하면서 핵심인력의 이직은 기업 경영에 차질을 빚을 수 있다. 업무담당자가 한순간에 바뀌게 되면 기초 자료 수집에서 제품개발 방법론 설정에 이르기까지 모든 제품개발 작업이 원점부터 다시 시작해야 하는 상황도 올 수 있다.
대기업에서는 그룹웨어나 인트라넷/익스트라넷을 도입
하여 마케팅 제품개발 인력수급 프로젝트를 체계적으로
관리한다. 그러나 디자인 분야에서 표준화된 작업절차
및 방법론을 정해놓고, 이를 소프트웨어화하는 전문 플랫폼을 갖춘 기업은 흔치 않다. 최근까지도 디자이너 사이에는 기업내 디자인 프로세스에 얽매여 창의력이 훼손되는 것을 원치 않아 플랫폼의 필요성을 깨닫지 못했기 때문이다. 또 실제 구축작업을 시작하더리도 백지상태에서 새롭게 시작해야 했다. 핵심 노하우에 속하는 상세한 디자인 프로세스가 외부에 공개되지 않아 벤치마크할 대상을 구하기 힘들다. 소규모 디자인 기업의 창업이 이어지면서 기업가치를 평가하는 각종 인증제도의 중요성이 커졌고, 인증취득 과정에서 디자인 프로세스의 의미는 결코 가볍지 않다.
이러한 관점에서 e비즈니스 제품을 만드는 e디자인 기업이 공유할 수 있는, 상세하고 구체적인 e디자인 플랫폼 개발이 절실하다.
