베이지안 혼합로짓모형을 이용한 소액지불수단에 대한 소비자 선호분석

Abstract

다양한 차세대 전자지불 수단은 사회적 거래비용을 획기적으로 감소시킴과 동시에 사용자의 편리성을 증진시킨다는 점에서 고전적 지불수단인 현금, 수표 등을 대체할 것으로 기대되고 있다. 하지만 새로운 전자지불수단들은 편리성 및 거래비용감소 등 여러 장점과 함께 보안성에 문제가 발생할 경우, 중요한 개인정보를 유출 시켜 사회 및 제도적으로 심각한 문제를 일으킬 수 있는 위험성을 가질 뿐 만 아니라 새로운 인프라 구축 및 신규 카드 발급에 대해서도 막대한 비용을 발생시킬 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 컨조인트(Conjoint) 기법을 이용하여 인프라의 크기, 계산시간, 개인정보 유출 정도 등과 같은 현금을 포함한 모든 지불수단의 기본적인 속성들에 대한 소비자의 선호의 크기 및 분포를 베이지안 혼합 로짓(Bayesian Mixed Logit)을 통하여 추정하였으며 나아가 실제 소비자의 각 속성들에 대한 한계지불의사액(Marginal WTP: Willingness To Pay)의 추정을 통해 차세대 지불수단 도입을 위해 필요한 기본적 자료 및 정책적 시사점을 제공하고자 한다. ; From last decades new payment instruments are expected to be introduced in near future for substituting various current payment instruments including cash and check to improve convenience and lower transaction cost. However, introduction of new payment instruments such as automatic remote payment can also incur various negative side effects such as occurring serious risk to divulge private information. In this paper, by using conjoint analysis to draw up questionnaire, stated consumer's evaluations of the core attributes of payment instrument such as security level, duration of cashing up, payment cost and coverage rate are studied. And also marginal willingness to pay for each attributes of the payment systems and relative importance percent of each attributes are estimated by Bayesian Mixed Logit model.
