Abstract
The Korean community in America is relatively new, widely dispersed, and rapidly

growing. Korean operated shops are commonly found in big cities of every region of the country and Korean's growth has often become targets of both praise and envy by the mass media and competing minorities. Although it looks thriving on surface, the community is in the infant stage of development and in need of overall direction, organization, and coordination.
