dc.description.abstract1. This paper is the introductory study for systemization of Mood and Speech Level in Modern Korean. The above categories are obligatorily expressed in Conclusive-Endings. Tentatively 1 propose that Modern Korean have 8 Mood-Endings and 9 Speech Levels. Each Speech Level includes 8 Mood-Endings. They are divided into two kinds of Mood depending on the volition of speaker. The so-called Non. Volitive Moods are expressed in Declarative, Interrogative and
Exclamative. But the Volitive Moods are expressed in Imperative, Propositive, Cajorative, Permissive and Preventive.
2. 1 analyse these Mood-Endings on the basis of structural method. They have one or more phonemically and morphemically conditional allomorphs according to their adjacent circumstances.
