dc.description.abstractThe acquisition of Hangul and Korean pronunciation are inseparable elements for adult learners in the beginning level. After a brief discussion of the teaching of Hangul, in what follows, I assess the accessibility of resources for teachers and students at the absolute beginners' level, mainly focusing on pronunciation, and present suggestions based on the 'case study' of Korean teaching at the University of Washington.-
