전문계열 고등학생의 ADHD, 우울, 불안이 인터넷 중독에 미치는 영향

Abstract

본 연구는 전문계열 고등학생들을 대상으로 ADHD, 우울, 불안이 인터넷 중독에 어떤 영향을 미치고, 어떤 변인이 인터넷 중독을 예측하는 데 어느 정도의 설명력을 지니고 있는지를 확인해 보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 구체 적인 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ADHD, 우울, 불안과 인터넷 중독과의 관계는 어떠한가? 둘째, ADHD, 우울 및 불안은 인터넷 중독에 어느 정도나 영향을 미치는가? 연구 대상은 부산지역 전문계열 12개 고등학교 학생 1,360명이었으며, ADHD 진단척도, 아동용 우울검사, 한국판 불안 검사, 그리고 한국형 인터넷 중독 자기진단검 사를 실시하였다. 최종 1,159개의 설문지가 분석되었으며, 구조방정식모형 분석방법을 사용하였다. 분석 결과, 인터넷 중독은 ADHD, 우울, 불안과 정적 상관을 보였다. 특히 구조모형 분석 결과, ADHD는 인터넷 중독에 직접 적인 영향을 미친 반면, 우울과 불안은 인터넷 중독에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않고 ADHD를 통해 간접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 우울이 불안에 강력하게 영향을 미치고, 불안은 ADHD에 영향을 미치며, 최종적으로 ADHD 가 인터넷 중독에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 분석 결과에 기초하여 논의 및 시사점이 제시되었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), depression, and anxiety on internet addiction among vocational high school students. For this study, self-reports data from 1,360 vocational high school students of Busan metropolitan city were collected. The results of this study were as follows. ADHD, depression, and anxiety were positively correlated with internet addiction. The results of structural equation model show that ADHD did directly affect to internet addiction, while depression and anxiety did not directly affect to internet addiction. Nevertheless, depression and anxiety did indirectly affect to internet addiction. Specifically, depression did strongly affect to anxiety, then anxiety to ADHD, and finally ADHD to internet addiction in order. Based on the results, findings and implications were discussed.
