지속가능한 여성정책을 위한 제언: 사상과 이념에서 공약과 정책으로

Abstract

여성관련 정책은 대한민국의 미래를 열어줄 수 있는 키워드이다. 현재 대한민국의 많은 정책은 매우 선진적으로, 전향적으로 움직이고 있지만, 유독 여성정책만이 과거 회귀적인 것은 이 명박 정권의 태생적 보수성과도 밀접한 관련이 있다. 따라서 이명박정부가 최근 부르짖는 공정, 공생의 열린 미래는 여성정책의 전향적 변화와 이행 없이는 불가능하다. 민주주의의 완성도, 자유와 평등의 문제도 여성에서 교착되어 있기에, 완성도 높은 여성관련 정책은 정권 뿐만 아니라 대한민국 자체의 품격을 한단계 높여주게 될 것이다. 이를 위해서 필요한 것은 성별영향평가와 성인지 정책을 포함하는 성주류화전략을 통한 여성정책의 제도화이다. Policy for women is a key word for the future in our society. Unlikely other many policies which are future oriented, only the policy for women shows its tendency of the past oriented. It will be closely related to the conservative inclination of the Lee Myongbak administration. Fairness and cohabitation of the Lee administration is not possible without critical change and transition of the policy for women. Because the issue of Democracy, as well as the issues of freedom and equality, is now in deadlock at the issue of women, the high quality policies for women will upgrade our national dignity. For this, we need to institutionalize the policy on women through gender-mainstreaming strategy including gender impact analysis and gender sensitive policy.
