Abstract
For the purpose of investigating the effect of fl uorination position on D?Atype conjugated polymer on photophysical and photovoltaic properties,two types of fl uorinated polymere are synthesized, HF with fl uorination onelectron-donating unit and FH with fl uorination on electron-accepting unit.Compared to non-fl uorinated polymer, fl uorinated polymers exhibit deeperHOMO energy levels without change of bandgap and stronger vibronicshoulder in UV?visible absorption, indicating that fl uorination enhancesintermolecular interaction. HF with fl uorinated D unit exhibits well-developedfi bril network, low bimolecular recombination and high hole mobility, whichlead a high PCE of 7.10% in conventional single-junction solar cells, whichis higher than the PCE (6.41%) of FH with fl uorinated A unit. Therefore,this result demonstrates that fl uorination on electron-donating unit in D?Apolymers could be a promising strategy for achieving high performancepolymer solar cells.
