사회적 혁신가정신이 비영리 조직의 자원의존패턴에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구: 자원다양성, 자원경쟁성, 자원의존성을 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 비영리 조직이 자원을 획득하고 의존하는 패턴을 크게 세 가지 차원으로 나누어 살펴보았다. 첫째, 비영리 조직이 얼마나 다양한 재원으로부터 자원을 확보하는지, 둘째 비영리 조직의 운영에 필요한 재원을 획득하기 위한 환경이 얼마나 경쟁적인지, 셋째, 공공부문으로부터 얼마나 많은 재원을 의존하고 있는지로 나누었다. 이러한 자원의존패턴에 비영리 조직의 사회적 혁신가정신이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 수도권 비영리 조직을 대상으로 설문한 자료를 통해 실증 분석 하였다. 분석을 위하여 사회적 혁신가정신의 개념을 진취성, 위험감수, 혁신성, 사회적 가치 창출의 요소로 구성하였다. 분석 결과 위험을 감수하는 비영리 조직일수록 공공부문의 자원의존도는 낮고 다양한 재원 구조를 가지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 혁신적 성향이 높은 비영리 조직일수록 경쟁적 환경 아래서 다양한 재원을 통해 자원을 확보하는 것으로 나타났다. 사회적 가치를 창출하고자 하는 사회적 혁신가정신은 다양한 재원 구조를 가지는데 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 서비스 전달조직의 경우 다른 비영리 조직과는 상이한 자원의존패턴을 가지고 있는 것으로 나타나 자원의존패턴에 비영리 조직의 업무유형도 영향을 미치고 있음을 검증하였다. 비영리 조직의 장기적 생존과 성공적 운영을 위해서는 자원을 안정적으로 확보하는 것과 함께 다양한 재원으로부터 자원을 확보하는 것이 중요하다. 이를 위해서 비영리 조직은 사회적 가치를 창출하려는 노력과 함께 위험을 감수하고 혁신성을 제고하기 위한 노력이 함께 수반되어야 한다.

Resource acquisition is closely associated with the survival or success of organizations. Nonprofit organizations make an effort to get resources for their success and survival through interdependence with the external environment. First, this study pays attention to the appearance of resource inflows-resource dependence patterns. Recently, the emphasis on efficiency and market mechanisms are more likely to promote nonprofit organizations to introduce social entrepreneurship. It is conceptualized as risk-taking, innovativeness, pro-activeness, and social value creation. This study examines how social entrepreneurship affects resource dependence patterns in nonprofit organizations. The results suggest that the resource diversity of Korean nonprofit organizations is considerably affected by innovativeness, risk-taking, and social value creation. Nonprofit organizations what work in service delivery show different resource dependence patterns compared to other types of nonprofit organizations.
