金純澤의 散文에 대한 南有容의 批評연구 - <志素遺稿> 수록 評語를 중심으로

Abstract

본고는 실제비평가 南有容의 면모를 조명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 金純澤의 <志素遺稿>에 수록되어 있는 남유용의 평어를 고찰해 보았다. 남유용과 김순택은 인척 사이인 동시에 사제지간이었다. 남유용의 비평은 두 사람의 이러한 관계를 바탕으로 이루어졌다. 남유용의 비평은 세 가지 방향으로 이루어졌다. 첫째로 작품의 주요한 특징을 언급한 것, 둘째로 생각과 경험의 공유를 바탕으로 작품에 대한 공감을 표출한 것, 셋째로 작품의 문제점을 지적하거나 수정 및 보완을 요구한 것이다. 이러한 남유용의 비평은 두 가지 점에서 가치를 가진다. 첫째로 비평이 작자의 문학에 영향을 끼쳤다는 점, 둘째로 비평을 매개로 평자와 작자 사이에 교감이 이루어진 점이다.

This paper examines the aspects of practical critic Nam, Yuyong by considering the critical commentary on Jisoyugo by Kim, Suntak. Nam, Yuyong and Kim, Suntak are related by marriage and teacher-pupil relationships. Nam, Yuyongs criticism was based on such a relationship. Nam, Yuyongs criticism consists of three parts. First, he mentioned primary characteristics of Kim, Suntaks proses. Second, his criticism expressed sympathy towards Kim, Suntaks proses based on sharing of thoughts and experiences. Third, he demanded to indicate a problem, evaluate and revise it. Nam, Yuyongs criticism had values in two regards. First, Nam, Yuyongs criticism affected Kim, Suntaks prose. Second, there was sympathy between Nam, Yuyong and Kim, Suntak in the critical commentary.
