dc.description.abstractUrchin-like polyaniline/polypyrrole/reduced graphene oxide composite was synthesized through a self-stabilized dispersion polymerization method. When applied to electrode materials for aqueous supercapacitors, the composite exhibits a high specific capacitance of ca. 350 F g−1 at a current density of ca. 0.5 A g−1 as well as good rate capability (keeping ca. 78 % of the initial value after 1000 cycles at a current density of ca. 0.5 A g−1). The enhancement of electrochemical performances might be attributed to the synergistic effects between graphene and urchin-like polyaniline/polypyrrole components with an improved specific surface area and electrical conductivity.-
