- Abstract
- In this paper we present various reinitializing techniques in level set method which have been used in interface capturing problems. We will observe both stationary and time dependent reinitializing techniques such as fast marching method, fast sweeping method, upwind method, and subcell fix method.With some examples of initial functions, we will give numerical experiments and comparison among those methods we introduced via speed of convergence and numerical error.
