삼척시 내미로리 천제(天祭)

Abstract

This study was conducted to investigate Cheonje(天祭) in Naemiro-Li of Samcheok-City. Cheonje(天祭) in Naemiro-Li that devotes a bull decennially to expel cáttle plàgue and to remove the troubles in several villages clearly shows the tradition of Cheonje(天祭) in the Li unit. This is concretely filed contents of Cheonje(天祭)s character in Naemiro-Li. Be as specific as is as follows. First, we can enough find that the spirits in charge of the sky is regareded Cheonhwang(天皇) in Naemiro-Li. In this context, we can find that Cheonhwang(天皇) means Cheonsin(天神). Second, when the whole Naemiro-Li has troubles, they need to do ritual of all villages. The villagers deify Cheonsin(天神) that is considered to be top of spiritual than a god of the village unit, express the villagers's religious desire. Third, Cheonje(天 祭) in Cheonjebong(天祭峰) of Naemiro-Li shows well the Naemiro-Lis tradition that performs divided spiritual function with Sanmaegi(산메기) in Mt. Shinum(쉰움산), Ritual for rain, the village units Senanggosa(서낭고사).
