The aim of this article is to look at the appearance and content of Korean language education in Joseon Dynasty during the late Joseon Dynasty and the enlightenment period based on the writing and language patterns of the Chinese language learning books that were circulated in the 19th and early 20th centuries. The text selected for consideration in this article are Ninigwiseong(1864), Hwaeumgyeomong(1883), Hwaeumgyeomongeonhae(1883?), Hwaeoyucho(1883?) and Ahakphyeon(1908). I looked at the format, content composition, writing, and chord set for learning objectives in these books. The Chinese language study book published at this time features a variety of its types compared to those of previous periods. Therefore, wide-ranging Chinese language education and learning have taken place, away from the previous learning that relied on the Nogeoldae and Bakthongsa. In terms of writing, the Chinese notes that were distributed at that time were written according to Guksokchanjajibeop. Then, consonant characters laterally attached which starting at ㅅ(s) are used in order to indicate the sound of the Chinese that sounded like those of our ears. There are differences in degree, but these patterns are common in all literature. In addition, the phonetic power of sound was enhanced by using consonant characters laterally attached which starting at o in Ahakphyeon, which is used to distinguish alveolar and palatal. Through this process, the chords were heard, distinguished, and mastered more closely to the original sound. And in this period of study, the multiplication of research notes and the multiplication of the latter is fully reflected. This shows that such research improvements and postscripts were the most notable changes for Chinese learners during this period. Palatalization also occurred in dental consonants, which were to be reflected in the Ahakphyoen.-
