- Abstract
- The rope-less elevator is recently attracted in industry because the larger space of the building can be utilized. The Inductive Wireless Power Transfer(IWPT) which transfers power with no physical contact is essential to rope-less elevator. This paper presents a novel bi-directional IWPT which is suitable elevator system. The multiple elevator car can be simultaneously operated through the voltage control of primary side without additional inductor. A mathematical model for active and reactive power is also presented. The validity of the proposed method is relined by analysis and experimental results of a 20kW bi-directional IWPT system.
