dc.description.abstractThe characteristics of the periodic arrangement of resonators is found to be capable of controlling reflection and transmission as a band gap phenomenon owing to the unusual sound wave caused by the periodic arrangement. In this study, the periodic arrangement of resonators was designed to analyze the noise attenuation in the frequency range of the band gap. Experiments were performed to verify the acoustic characteristics of the resonator arrangement considering the flow. CFD simulations considering the flow were performed to obtain the sound pressure level and pressure distribution, and flow analysis was performed on the designed resonator model using an unsteady compressible Navier-stokes equation. The analysis results of the periodic arrangement of the resonator were verified by comparison with the experimental results of the designed model.-
