To better evaluate the cost-effectiveness of active case finding for tuberculosis, a framework for estimating long-term cost and impact is needed. We outline such a framework and highlight the need for consensus estimates of which costs to measure; averted morbidity, mortality, and transmission; measurable short-term outcomes; and meaningful cost-effectiveness thresholds.ko_KR
