| dc.description.abstract | 최근 세계물류시장은 세계경제의 글로벌화와 산업의 수직적 분업화가 급속히 진행됨에 따라 엄청난 규모로 급성장하고 있다. Datamonitor에 따르면 세계물류시장 규모는 2007년 8,046억달러(925조 2,900억원, 1달러당 1,150원 적용)로 2003년에 비해 연평균 6.2% 증가하였으며, 2012년에는 2007년 대비 연평균 5.3% 증가한 1조 406억 달러로 전망하고 있다. 특히 최근 세계물류시장을 주도하고 있는 제3자 물류시장의 경우에는 글로벌 물류업체는 시장점유율 향상, 진입장벽 형성 및 리스크 분산을 위해 적극적으로 기업간 입수합병(M&A)이 이루어지고 있으며, 이로 인해 몇몇 대형 물류기업이 글로벌 네트워크를 구축하고 국제 물류시장을 통합·장악해 나가고 있는 실정이다. 이와 같은 대표적인 사례가 DPWN(독일)의 Exel(영국) 인수(05.12), DB(독일)의 Bax Global(미국) 인수(06.01), TNT(네덜란드)의 Wilson Logistics(스웨덴) 인수(04.06) 등이다. | - |
