Abstract

There are many attractive myths in the Jeju island: SASIN BONPURl. This paper focused on SASIN (蛇神: god of snake)'s the type of migration of the snake (Sasin) of the SASIN BONPURl in the Jeju island. General God BONPURl(CHILSEONG BONPURl), Shamanism Shrine BONPURl, Jo-Sang (祖上: ancestor) BONPURI, these three myths are SASIN BONPURl. Each of these myths has different features in chracter of SASIN. The aspects of moving make these different features. And this paper treats rituals about SASIN basically. As there are three SASIN BONPURl, we can analyse the riuals into three. With this study of SASIN BONPURl, we can understand the spatial construct of SASIN BONPURl.
