역사적인 관점에서 본 정보기술의 고찰

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify important issues associated with information technology (IT) from a historical perspective and suggest ways to deal with these issues. Since a review of the history of IT reveals an issue, its relationship with management information systems (MIS), the history of IT is reviewed and broken down into three eras in a systematic way. Another issue is on the definiton of IT. Two approaches to defining IT are identified and limitations of each approach are discussed. Finally, a better way to address these limitations is suggested.
