| dc.description.abstract | 1896년에 거의한 의병장 중에 閔龍鎬가 있다. 민용호는 1869년 경상도 산청에서 태어나 閔致禹에게 입양되어 서울과 여주로 옮겨살게 되었다. 1896년 1월 13일(음력 1895년 11월
29일) 원주에서 의병을 일으킨 민용호는 대관령을 넘어가 강릉의병과 합하였고, 이후 관동 9군을 연합한 의병부대를 이끌고 싸웠다. 원산항의 일본군을 공격한 젓으로 유명하다. 강원도 영동 자방에서의 의병활동이 실패로 돌아간 다음 민용호는 만주로 망명하였다가 1898년 귀국하였다. | - |
