| dc.description.abstract | 배아줄기세포(embryonic stem cell, ES cell) 은 가장 초기 단계의 stem cell로써
이론적으로 모든 종류의 cell로 분화하는 능력을 가지고 있다. ES cell을 이용 해 신경세포, 근육세포, 심근세포 등으로 분화시키는 것이 가능하다는 것이 밝 혀졌고, 좀 더 특이적으로 분화시키는 연구도 활발히 진행되고 있다. ES cell은 증식 속도가 매우 커서 다량의 cell을 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있기 때문에 미래 의 질병 치료법중의 하나인 cell therapy 에 잘 응용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 ES cell line 중의 하나인 R1 ES cell line을 이용해 실험을 하 였는데, 도파민성 신경 세포를 많이 얻기 위해 다양한 방법을 시도해 보았고 적절한 조건에서 도파민성 신경세포 대신 지속적으로 움직이는 smooth muscle cell이 형성되는 것을 관찰하였다. | en |
