This paper argues that right node raising (RNR) in Korean is a process of conjunction reduction (CR) fed by linearization. Two full conjunct clauses start to complete structure-building, their respective left-edge elements then undergo linearization, and finally they, containing the copy-trace-like elements left by linearization of the left-edge elements, are conjoined together in syntax by means of CR. In the meantime we will point out problems with the existing analyses of RNR in Korean and also discuss the advantages of the proposed analysis with respect to peculiar phenomena of RNR such as verbal inflection, negation-NPI/QP interaction and (non-)constituenthood.ko_KR
