dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to propose a way to educate Korean language and culture to Japanese learners. It draw up a general plan for Japanese learners to understand and accept the language and cultural difference between Japan and Korea.

For this, Part 1 focuses on present condition of ethnocentrism in Japan and a educational principle to remedy this state. Part 2 is an illustration for some examples of heterogeneity and homogeneity in relation of the food culture between two countries. Part 3 explains problems with pronunciation in Korean language for Japanese learners. Part 4 presents Korean language sections which are easy to learn for Japanese. Part 5 is about the cultural tendencies in Korean daily life.

This paper has an inter-cultural viewpoint for language and language culture education which can develope a desirable attitude in an acceptance of cultural differences for Japanese learners.
