Abstract
The aim of this paper is to show the educational possibility of language and culture through an illustrated book. The objects of this study are Korean illustrated books which are translated and published in Japan.

Recently, Japanese are being increased an interest in Korean mass culture more and more. At the sane time, it is increasing that the learning of Korean language.

And also, translation and publication of Korean juvenile literature, especially an illustrated book are increased rapidly. In this paper, I will make a special study about how Korean illustrated book is introduced in Japan. And it is also my subject that if the present state have relation to Korean language education and understanding of Korean culture.
