dc.description.abstractThis study purposes to resign the contents and methods of Internet chatting expression education. It is because we cannot defer educational approaches to communication through Internet media, which is growing more popular.

For this purpose, the author investigated expression patterns in Internet chatting and the current state of communication among chatting room users. Based on findings from the investigation, a teaching plan for Internet chatting expression was drawn ani the plan was provided to a teacher so that the teacher creates an actual class plan. Using the class plan, teachers taught 1st-year high school students. After class, the students and the teacher filled out a questionnaire ani were interviewed, and their opinions on the contents and methods of teaching were collected. Through these processes were found the perception of the students and the teacher on the necessity for Internet expression education, and based on which, teaching methods and contents were prepared.
