생태주의 문학교육의 실천 방향: 생태 공동체로서의 해석 공동체를 모색하며

Abstract

이 연구는 그간 문학교육 연구에서 이루어졌던 다양한 패러다임의 변화가 지니는 의미를 비판적으로 검토하고 2000년대 들어 새롭게 국어교육계에 수용된 생태주의 관점에서 문학교육을 조망하였다. 이를 위해 생태학의 자연성을 재개념화하고 문학교육 현상으로서의 문학교육에 대해 착목할 것을 제안하였다. 또한 생태주의 문학교육의 지향이 문학교육 현상에 대한 다원적․총체적 접근과 문학교육 현상의 근본적 자기 변혁임을 밝혔다. 이 같은 전제 하에서 생태주의 문학교육의 실천태로서 해석 공동체의 개념을 검토하였다.

객관적 해석을 신봉하는 대신 문학교육 현상을 구성하는 요소 간의 유기적 관계를 활성화하고 객관적 해석관에서 탈피하여 독자 해석의 재발견을 강조하는 대안적 공동체로서의 해석 공동체를 생태 공동체의 하나로 규정하였다. 해석 공동체는 그동안 문학교육에서 소홀하게 다루었던 복수의 학습자들이 어떤 관계망을 형성하며 문학교육 현상을 추동하는지를 보여 준다는 점에서 연구의 가치를 지닌다. 해석 공동체는 문학 현상 및 문학교육 현상의 영향을 받는 동시에 그들에게 영향을 끼치게 되는데, 이는 해석 공동체 내 구성원들의 소통과 해석 공동체 간의 소통을 통해 실현됨을 알 수 있었다. 생태주의 문학교육에 대한 연구는 문학교육 현상을 구성하는 단일한 요소만을 중점적으로 검토하기보다는 다양한 요소들에 대한 다원적 검토를 통해 이루어져야 한다.

This study aims to examine the direction of the ecological literary education. For this, naturality is reconceptualized and phenomenon of literary education is received attention. The direction of ecological literary education means triangular and total approach to phenomenon of literary education. Also it means self revolution of phenomenon of literary education. Against this backdrop, it is checked concept of interpretive community as a realization of ecological literary education.

The interpretive community is well worth a careful study because of it shows that dynamics of learners and actuality of phenomenon of literary education. On the one hand, the interpretive community is influenced by phenomenon of literary and literary education, but on the other, it have influence on them. It was able to recognize that these process is came true through communication among interpretive community members and interpretive communities. To study of ecological literary education, multi-level description about diverse elements of phenomenon of literary education is needed.
