아버지의 양육행동이 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계에 미치는 영향: 낙인의 매개효과를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구에서는 ADHD 성향 남아를 대상으로, 아버지의 양육행동이 이들의 또래관계에 미치는 영향력을 살펴보고, 아버지의 양육행동과 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계 간 관계에서 낙인이 매개효과를 가지는지 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년 남학생 451명에게 설문조사를 실시하였고, 그 중에서 교사보고에 의해 ADHD 성향이 있다고 평가받은 남학생 173명의 자료를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 상관분석과 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였고, 매개효과를 살펴보기 위해 Baron과 Kenny가 제안한 매개효과 검증 절차와 sobel 검증을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째 아버지의 양육행동은 돌봄과 통제 모두 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계에 있어서는 어머니와 아버지 둘 다 중요한 영향력을 미치지만, 아버지가 어머니보다 더 큰 영향력을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 둘째, 아버지의 돌봄적 양육행동이 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계에 미치는 영향에서 낙인은 매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났으나, 통제적 양육행동과 ADHD 성향 남아의 또래관계 간 관계에서 낙인은 매개효과를 가지지 않았다. 이는 ADHD 성향남아의 또래관계에 있어서는 아버지의 따뜻하고 애정 어린 돌봄이 중요한 요소로써, 이들이 경험하고 있을 낙인을 감소시키기 위해서는 아버지의 역할에 중점을 둔 개입 방안이 마련되어야 함을 제시한다고 볼 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과에 기초하여 논의 및 함의를 제시하였다.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of father's parenting on peer relations of boys with ADHD symptoms and the mediating effects of stigmatization on the effect. A total of 173 subjects was selected from teacher-reports(K-ARS) in a sample of 5th and 6th grade elementary school boys. Correlation analysis and hierarchical regression were employed to examine the hypothesis. The results were as follows. First, father's parenting showed the effect on their peer relations. Although both mother's parenting and father's parenting were important to their peer relations, father's parenting affected their relations more than mother's parenting. Second, association between father's warm parenting and peer relations of the boys was mediated by stigmatization. However, association between father's control parenting and their peer relations was not mediated by stigmatization. Through the study, it was revealed that father's warm parenting has a major impact on peer relations of boys with ADHD symptoms, and stigmatization which the boys could experience should be considered to improve their peer relations. According to these results, findings and implications are discussed.
