Double Inertia Orbifold and the Euler Characteristic

Abstract

이 논문에서 우리는 오비폴드 오일러 표수와 일반적인 오일러 표수의 관계를 소개한다. 오비폴드 X의 오비폴드 오일러 표수는 X의 관성 오비폴드의 근본 공간의 일반적인 오일러 표수와 같다. 그러므로 광역적 상공간에 대한 물리학자의 오비폴드 오일러 표수는 이중 관성 오비폴드의 오비폴드 오일러 표수와 같다. 그리고 우리는 위의 관계를 대칭 직공간의 경우에서 확인할 수 있다.

In this paper we present the relation of the orbifold Euler characteristic and the ordinary Euler characteristic. The orbifold Euler characteristic of an orbifold X is equal to the ordinary Euler characteristic of the underlying space of the inertia orbifold of X. Thus the physicists' orbifold Euler characteristic of a global quotient X is equal to the orbifold Euler characteristic of the double inertia orbifold of X. And we can see the above relation in the symmetric product case.
