dc.description.abstract | Problem Facing Palestinian Women Football:
A case study of the issues pertaining to Palestinian women football and the experience of Korean women football development Ihsan Abdallah Global Sport Management, Department of Physical Education The Graduate School Seoul National University The study shows that the Palestinian women football progress faces problems regarding, culture stereotype, either from the people or the admini-strational, financial issues results in keeping Palestinian women football in amateur status, in addition to administrational problems due to the lack of experience, along with problems result from the Israeli occupation as well technical issues that effecting performance of the player. All problems work together in disturbing the sustainability and progress of Palestinian women football. Palestinian women football will stay in the game as long the status is changed from amateurs to professional, as well working on the idea of abandoning football for marriage. The Korean women football study shows that increasing the amount of international matches, preparing an experienced staff, maintain focus of creating age groups and connecting with schools and universities, working with individual sponsorship as well increasing the governmental support for women football, and integrating the Palestinian community will work on solving progress problem of Palestinian women football.
