dc.description.abstractIn this study, a dynamic analysis program considering bridge - vehicle - wind interaction is developed and case studies on Young-jong bridge and Yi sun-sin bridge are conducted.
Bridges are modeled as nodes and frame elements to extract the mode shapes of bridges. Vehicle model is developed for analysis. The vehicle model is modeled based on two – axle truck and consists of a total of seven freedoms. Comparison was made using commercial programs in order to verify the similarity between the vehicle model and the actual vehicle. By using the developed vehicle model and the mode shapes of the bridge, the M, C, and K equations are constructed by applying the principle of virtual work, and analyzed by the New-marks beta method. Acceleration of the vehicle and the bridge under the wind load is compared from the results.
