중1 학생들의 물리 선행학습의 학업성취도에 영향을 미치는 요인

Abstract

과학고 진학을 위해 물리를 선행학습하는 학생들의 학업성취도에 영향을 주는 요인을 찾아보았다. 연구의 대상은 연구자의 학원에 다니는 중1학년 14명의 학생을 대상으로 하였다. 학생들의 인지수준이나 선행학습 정도, 과목에 대한 선호도, 학교 내신 등이 선행학습의 성취도에 영향을 줄 것으로 생각하여 인지수준검사와 설문조사를 실시하였다. 선행학습의 성취도 평가는 고등학교 2학년 물리1 파동단원의 굴절부분으로 하였다. 평가결과 뚜렷한 성취도의 차이가 났지만 인지수준검사와 설문조사에서는 그 차이를 설명할 변인이 뚜렷이 나타나지 않았다. 과제집착력이 학생들의 성취도 차이를 설명할 것으로 기대하고 면담을 통한 과제집착력 평가와 관찰을 통한 과제 집착력 평가를 실시하였다. 면담평가와 과제집착력은 상관관계가 적었으나 관찰평가와 과제집착력은 평가자에 따라 차이는 있었으나 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 관찰평가 방식을 개선한 개인별 관찰평가에서 학생들의 과제집착력과 학업성취도는 상관관계가 높게 나타났고 대상 학생의 특수성을 감안하여 평가치를 보정한 경우 더욱 높은 상관관계가 나타났다.

To be admitted for the Science high school, students do preparatory learning about physics. Factors influencing the school achievement score of students' preparatory learning was studied in this paper. The participants of study were fourteen 7th grade students attending the preparatory academy. The GALT was tested to check the students' cognitive level and a questionnaire was carried out for checking students preparatory learning level, subject preference and the middle school records. Test contents was based on the refraction part of wave chapter in the 11th physics 1 textbook. The findings show that obvious difference exist between students school achievement, but clear clues explaining the difference was not shown in the test results of GALT and a questionnaire. Expecting task commitment explain the difference, Interview evaluation and observation evaluation were carried out to test task commitment. Interview evaluation showed no correlation with students school achievement but observation evaluation showed corelation with it although amount of correlation varied with evaluators. In the individual observation evaluation, task commitment showed strong corelation with students school achievement. If the evaluation score was corrected regarding student's specific condition, task commitment showed stronger corelation with students school achievement.
