지역내 학교 통합프로그램 구축을 위한 성미산 학교공원 기본계획

Abstract

최근 유럽, 미국 등 선진국에서는 자연공원을 이용하여 어린이의 체험환경교육을 실시하는 사례가 늘고 있으며, 우리나라에서도 최근 숲에 대한 높은 관심으로 시민단체를 중심으로 숲을 보전하고자 하는 숲 체험환경교육을 실시하는 사례가 많아졌다. 그러나 숲을 통한 체험교육은 아직 체계를 갖추고 있지 못하고 단순한 체험 프로그램에 그치고 있는 실정이다. 게다가, 한국의 도시들은 녹지 부지 매입의 어려움 및 시설 관리 등의 재정적인 문제로 인하여 새로운 공원 조성은 매우 어려운 실정에 직면해 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위한 하나의 대안으로 근린주구의 핵인 초등학교를 중심으로 학교 옥외공간을 근린공원으로 이용하려는 시도가 전국적으로 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 초등학교는 도시 전체에 고르게 분포되어 있어 공원 부지 매입의 어려움을 해결할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 기존의 수목을 활용하고 학교와 지역이 공동으로 이용 관리함으로써 조성 및 관리에 대한 예산 절감을 기대할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 학교숲 가꾸기, 학교녹화사업, 학교공원화사업, 녹색학교 만들기 등 다양한 이름과 형태로 전개되고 있는 이러한 사업들은 학생들에게는 살아있는 환경체험 교육을 할 수 있는 야외학습의 장을, 지역주민들에게 여가 공간을 제공하는 의의가 있다. 또한 도시에 고르게 분포되어 있는 초등학교를 활용하여 공원부지 매입의 어려움을 해결하고, 녹지의증가로 쾌적한 도시환경을 창출하고 개선하는 효과를 기대할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문은 마포구 소재 성미산 지역을 중심으로 숲속생태계의 구성 원리를 이해하고 오감을 통해 체험할 수 있는 학교공원 및 자연체험로를 조성하고 숲속 의 다양한 주제를 통하여 학교공원 프로그램을 개발하고자 하였다.

Experiential environmental education for children using the resources of nature park are becoming popular in Europe, America. Recently, in Korea also, forest experience educational programs are being offered by many citizens' interest groups involved in protecting forests. However, such educational programs are not offered systematically. Furthermore, it is difficult to secure public green space in the downtown area school lots can be made the best use of important source to increase the area of green land in the city. The tree-planting campaign for schools has been in force since 1999 by the city of Seoul and at present it is currently established as the plan of school parks. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to present some ways to revitalize elementary schools to be used as vest pocket parks through the research of elementary schools, which are subject to the plan of school parks in Seoul. And the purpose of this project is to create school parks in elementary schools in order to improve the educational environment and also to increase the amount of greenscape in the city. above all, the main goal is to create space for local residents in which they can enjoy their leisure time. The results of this study are as below : the subjects to revitalize school parks. first, the land has to be utilized for security of space. second, in addition to the front and back gate, another passage to the park has to be set up for easy access. third, the fence has to be formed as a hedge used outside the park. fourth, selecting plants, species of trees suitable for the landscape of school and taking into consideration the aspect of ecology. finally, it is urgent to enact socially and economically proper standard of law by the new standards of area for school landscape considering not only the building law and regulations of general landscape, but also specific characteristics of school landscape.
