원일 작곡 <천장> 지휘법 연구

Abstract

창작국악관현악은 김기수의 「황화만년지곡」을 시초로, 수많은 작곡가에 의하여 현재에 이르고 있다. 김희조, 이성천, 이해식, 박범훈, 백대웅 등 많은 작곡가들이 작품을 발표하였고, 1980년대부터 전국적으로 다수의 국악관현악단이 창단됨으로서 양적·질적으로 팽창이 이루어졌다. 그 중 원일은 「신뱃놀이」라는 대표곡으로 국악관현악에 있어 큰 반향을 불러 일으켰으며, 끊임없는 음악적 시도와 변신으로 창작국악에서 큰 역할을 담당하여 왔다. 본고에서는 원일의 『천장』을 대상으로 곡의 구조, 악기 편성, 창작배경 등을 살펴본 후 리듬 및 선율을 고려한 지휘법 분석을 진행하였다.

Changjak gugak orchestra has been developed since Kim Kisus 「Hwang-hwa-man-nyeon-ji-gok」 was first composed. Until today, many composers, such as Kim Heejo, Lee Seongcheon, Lee Haesik, Park Beomhun, and Baek Daewoong, have presented various compositions and it has been expanded both quantitatively and qualitative after several gugak orchestras were established throughout South Korea from the 1980s on. Among them, Won Il, with his masterpiece 「Sinbaetnori」 (New Boating Song), brought a breath of fresh air to gugak orchestra and have played a pivotal role in developing changjak gugak through continuous musical experiments. This thesis examines the structure, instrumentation, and background of Won Ils 『Cheonjang』 (Sky Burial) and analyzes the conducting techniques in regard to its rhythm and melody.
