학습종합검사(WISE) 개발 및 타당화

Abstract

본 연구는 교수·학습 개선을 목적으로 학습자의 종합적인 학습 상황을 파악하기 위한 학습종합검사(WISE: Wide insight Inquiry for Smart Education)를 개발하고 타당화하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 예비척도 개발, 예비 조사, 본 조사, 최종척도 개발 순으로 진행되었다. 자료 분석은 문항특성 파악을 위해 기술통계분석이 수행되었고, 신뢰도와 타당도 분석을 위해 내적일관성계수(Cronbachs α), 탐색적 요인분석, 확인적 요인분석이 수행되었다. 우선 선행연구를 기반으로 문항을 개발한 후 전문가 집단의 의견을 수렴하여 수정 및 보완 과정을 거쳤다. 예비 조사로 초·중·고등학생 790명을 대상으로 하여 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과, 개발된 학습종합검사는 이론적 근거를 지지하여 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 영역으로 구성되었다. 구체적으로 인지적 영역은 메타인지와 지능, 정의적 영역은 학습동기와 귀인, 학업 스트레스, 학습된 무기력, 행동적 영역은 학습양식과 감각유형, 학습환경, 학습태도 등 최종 43개 측정변인, 172문항으로 본 검사 문항을 선정하였다. 이를 토대로 본 조사에서는 학교급 및 성별 규준 제작을 위해 서울특별시를 포함한 수도권과 지방 거점도시의 초·중·고등학생 266명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였으며, 분석 결과 절대적합지수, 표준적합지수, 증분적합지수, 조정적합지수 모두 대체로 통계적으로 수용 가능한 기준치를 충족시켜 구조적으로 적합한 모형으로 판명되었다. 학습종합검사의 최종 내적일관성신뢰도 Cronbachs α 계수는 .913으로 높게 나타났다. 본 연구에서 개발된 학습종합검사(WISE)는 학습에 대한 정보를 종합적인 관점으로 이해할 수 있도록 인지적, 정의적, 행동적 영역을 다차원적으로 측정한 것으로 보다 효과적인 교수·학습 개선에 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to develop and to validate the Wide insight Inquiry for Smart Education(WISE). Data were analyzed by means of exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbachs α. Based on the theory and the results of the item analysis and exploratory factor analysis from 790 students, 172 items representing 3 factors were retained to construct the final WISE. The cognition sub-area included 40 items of intelligence, meta-cognition. The emotion sub-area contained 72 items for measuring learning motivation, attribution orientation, academic stress and learned helplessness. The behavior sub-area included 60 items for measuring learning style, perceptual intake, learning environment and learning attitude. As a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, the model fit indices of χ2/df, IFI, CFI, TLI, and RMSEA were met the sufficient fit criteria, the overall reliability Cronbachs α for the WISE was .913. These results support both the reliability and the validity of the WISE.
