Abstract
The landowner management of Dojang that formed one part in the Royal Households Land together with the royal landowner to understand the landowner management of Royal Households Land synthetically has been checked. Even though the Dojang has been divided as Jakdojang, Napgadojang and Yeokgadojang according to the occurrence origin, each Dojang has been assigned to the Royal Households Land all irrespective of type. The landowner management of Dojang was the similar aspect irrespective of occurrence origin of Dojang and Royal Households Land. The occurrence origin of Dojang and Royal Households Land didn"t have the effect on the landowner management of Dojang.
In terms of the aspect for the landowner management of Dojang of Royal Households Land, 1) The Dojang built the Dam, repaired if the Dam is broken, maintained and expanded the farmland by cultivating the land not advanced or uncorrected. 2) The absentee landowner took possession of high importance in the Dojang. The Dojang being the absentee landowner identified the harvest as the identical person comes down directly or sending down the related person if it becomes the harvest time by managing by placing the supervisor of a tenant farm in the field. 3) The Dojang did the landowner management with the diverse method of system paying the half (50%) of crop, system paying the determined amount, etc. The landowner management of this Dojang was the similar image to the general landowner in fact.
The Dojang taking charge of one part for the management of Royal Households Land has been reinforcing the landowner management through the positive farmland operation as the practical owner of Royal Households Land and the principal agent of farmland operation. Even though the absentee landowner realized the center in the Dojang, there was no difference between the method of landowner management and the amount of rent with the private landowner. The aspect of landowner system expanded upon the opportunity of opening the port at the end of 19th century ~ at the beginning of 20th century has appeared equally in the landowner management of Dojang of Royal Households Land.
