Abstract
The purpose of this article is revealed how to different first(1921) & second (1923) trip to Kumgang Mountains for Lee Gwangsu as the writer theory about a renovation of nationality in 1922. At the first trip, Lee Gwangsu with her wife had been climbed Kumgang Mountains. He had been described with veiy beautiful sentences about Kumgang Mountains view & landscapes. He had been prayed himself to be a sacrificial offering for Chosun people. He had been focused on prince Maytaeza, Gyeng Soon wang, the last King of Silla Dynasty, & prince Gungyea. They were a kind of persona of Lee Gwangsu, himself. But in send trip, he had felt the dignified appearance of Kumgang Mountains as naturism, & a human being as a very tiny existence, the frailty of human life. Because of criticisms & blames & misunderstandings about his sincerity for Chosun people in his theory about a renovation of nationality in 1922. The travel sketches of Kumgang Mountains is shows us the panorama of ideal dreams & a breakdown of those for the enlightening intellectuals in colonial periods.
