| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구의 목적은 한국 담배수요의 가격탄력성을 추정하고, 이를 흡연자의 대응 방안에 따라 구분하여 우리나라 담배가격에 대한 정책적 함의를 모색하는 것이다. 담배가격 인상에 대하여 흡연자의 대응방안은 흡연 중단, 흡연량 감소, 저가 담배로의 대체로 구분된다. 1981년부터 2018년까지 38년간의 흡연가구의 총지출 대비 담배지출액비중과 가격변화에 대한 시계열 통합자료를 이용한 분석 결과 전체 가격탄력성 -0.642 중 흡연율 탄력성은 -0.115, 양적 탄력성은 -0.200, 질적 탄력성은 -0.327인 것으로 나타났다. 본 논문의 결과에서는 질적 탄력성이 전체 탄력성의 절반 이상을 차지하는데, 이는 담배가격 인상 시 국민건강증진의 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 질적 대체에 대한 통제가 필요함을 의미한다. | - |
