dc.description.abstract | Recently many corporations are seriously taking on Creating Shared Value (CSV), the theory proposed by Porter and Kramer, and many have succeeded. Once succeeded, they obviously cannot stay static to enjoy the achievement since one of the essences of being truly competitive as Porter states is to continuously upgrade themselves. This paper provides case studies of ten selected corporations in automobile industry on their actions to create shared value. The emphasis of the discussion also directs toward the importance of becoming a Smart Corporation, a framework proposed by Moon, Parc, Yim and Park. By applying real world case studies, this paper demonstrates the usefulness of both CSV framework by Porter and Kramer as well as the great benefit of an extended framework which contributes positively in explaining CSV concept. | - |
