dc.description.abstractHere, we report a method for high-sensitivity fluorescence imaging of iron, which demonstrates the abundance and distribution of iron in plant tissues more precisely than conventional histochemical staining procedures. The fluorescence turn-on method is rapid (<20 min), inexpensive to set up, and expected to be readily applicable to any plant tissues.-
