치유숲길의 공간 설계요소에 대한 이용자 만족도

Abstract

급격한 산업발달로 인해 인간의 삶의 모습은 예전과 다르게 다양한 모습으로 변화하고 있다는 이유에서, 최근 자연을 즐기면서 건강을 증진할 수 있는 치유숲길에 대한 국민적 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이에 설계자는 이용자들이 치유숲길을 이용함에 있어, 만족할 수 있는 요소가 무엇인지 설계 시에 고려해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 개인적 특성(성별, 연령대, 건강상태, 결혼유무, 거주지, 경제적 수준) 및 치유숲길의 설계요소(접근성, 연계성, 쾌적성, 편의성) 등을 도출하여, 치유숲길 이용자 만족도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보았다. 연구대상지로 선정한 국립산림치유원의 치유숲길 이용자를 대상으로 개인적 특성을 조사하고, 치유숲길의 설계요소에 대한 인식과 이용자 만족도를 조사하였다. 조사는 2021년 5월 12일부터 15일까지, 214명을 대상으로 설문을 통하여 진행되었으며, 이를 통해 얻은 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 이용자의 개인특성 중에서 연령대, 결혼유무, 거주지에 따라 이용자 만족도에는 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 그리고, 설계요소 중에서는 접근성과 편의성이 이용자 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 또한, 이 설계요소 분석에 추가로 이용자의 연령대, 결혼유무, 거주지를 포함하여 분석하였을 때, 연령대는 접근성, 편의성과 함께 이용자 만족도에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 치유숲길을 이용하는 이용객의 연령대에 따라 만족도에는 차이가 있으며, 치유숲길의 접근성 및 편의성도 치유숲길 이용자 만족도에 긍정적 영향을 미친다고 해석된다. 즉, 설계자는 이러한 요소들을 고려하여 이용자 만족도를 높이는 전략을 수립하여 적용하는 것이 중요하다.

Rapid industrial development has brought changes to human lives. There is a growing public interest in the hiking paths in healing forest which is perceived to improve health while also enjoying nature. There is a need consider the factors that affect peoples satisfaction when designing these hiking paths in healing forest, and thus is the motivation of this research. This study examined how social characteristics(gender, age group, health status, marital status, residence, and economic level) and design factors(accessibility, connectivity, comfort, and convenience) of the hiking paths in healing forest affect users satisfaction. The personal characteristics of the users of National Forest Healing Center selected as the research target were investigated, and the perception and user satisfaction of the design elements of the hiking paths in healing forest were investigated. The survey was conducted from May 12 to 15, 2021. This study used survey as the data collection method and interviewed a total of 214 respondents. Results of the study revealed that among the personal characteristics of users, there were significant differences in user satisfaction according to age, marital status, and residence. Meanwhile, among the design factors, accessibility and convenience were concluded to have a positive effect on user satisfaction. In addition, when the user's age group, marital status, and residence were included in this design element analysis, it was confirmed that age group had a significant effect on users satisfaction, along with accessibility and convenience. This can imply that there is a difference in satisfaction according to the age of the users, and the accessibility and convenience of the hiking paths, with also having a positive effect on peoples satisfaction. It is therefore importantfor the designer to establish hiking paths in healing forests with considerations on these factors.
