Abstract
Based on proprietary data for the electricity consumption of Korean listed firms from 2006 to 2014, we document that the sensitivity of electricity consumption to positive activity changes is lower for firms with greater commitments to environmental responsibility (i.e., green-committed firms). The findings indicate that green-committed firms are indeed more cautious than others about electricity consumption. (C)& nbsp;2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
