Abstract
We report here the complete genome sequence of the Vibrio coralliilyticus-0. specific phage pVco-5, a double-stranded DNA virus isolated from an oyster hatchery tank. Vibrio coralliilyticus causes bacillary necrosis in marine bivalve larvae; hence, phage pVco-5 could be used to prevent V. coralliilyticus infections in these larvae.
