벤처기업의 지역 잔존에 대한 연구

Abstract

기술이 발전함에 따라 전세계적으로 벤처기업들이 새로운 신성장동력을 이끌어 내며 지역일자리 창출과 경제성장을 견인하고 있다. 정부나 지자체에서도 벤처기업들의 새로운 산업에 대한 기술개발을 지원해주기 위해 다양한 지원정책들을 진행해왔다. 다만 현재 진행되는 연구들은 벤처기업의 입지요인에 대한 연구만 진행중이며, 지원정책의 경우는 벤처기업의 설립에만 초점을 두고 있다. 이에 벤처기업들이 어떤 지역에서는 잔존하고 지속적으로 성장하는지에 대한 것을 파악해볼 필요가 있다.

이에 본 연구에서는 기존 기업입지요인, 기업이동요인을 선행연구와 이론을 분석해 요인을 추출하고 이를 토대로 시군구 벤처기업의 잔존율에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 실증분석 결과, 벤처기업의 잔존율에는 비용절감요인과 고급인력확보가 좋을수록 정(+)의 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었고, 창업지원요인에 대한 변수에서는 부(-)의 영향을 받는 것을 알 수 있었다.

연구를 통해 벤처기업들의 잔존을 위해서 시군구 지자체는 창업지원요인에 대한 지원보다는, 벤처기업이 비용을 절감할 수 있는 정책이나 고급노동력을 확보할 수 있는 정책들을 강화하여야 한다.

As technology advances, venture companies have created local jobs and economic growth. As venture companies have become a new growth source, the government have implemented various support policies to help venture companies. However, the current research is only on the location factors of venture companies. amd it focuses only on the establishment of venture companies. In this regard, it is necessary to find out where venture companies continue to grow without moving. Therefore, in this study, the residual factors of venture companies were extracted by analyzing previous studies and theories on the factors of corporate location and corporate migration. Based on this, a study was conducted on the residual rate of venture companies in cities, counties and districts. As a result of the empirical analysis, it was found that the cost reduction factor and the securing of high-quality manpower had a positive effect on the residual rate of venture companies, while the variables for start-up support factors had a negative effect. For the residual of venture companies through research, local governments in cities, counties and districts should reinforce policies that enable venture companies to reduce costs or secure high-quality labor rather than support for start-up support factors.
