가리봉동의 거주자 특성에 따른 장소성 인식 차이 연구 : 내국인과 중국동포를 중심으로

Abstract

본 연구는 외국인 밀집지역에서 이루어지는 집단 간의 장소성 형성 요인과 향후 행동에 대한 비교 분석을 중심으로 이루어졌다. 이를 위한 구체적인 연구 대상지로 서울시 구로구 가리봉동을 선정하여, 특성의 차이가 뚜렷한 내국인과 중국동포라는 두 집단이 각 집단 구성원의 출신에 따라 장소성 형성 요인에 대한 차이를 도출하였다. 연구는 초기에 설정했던 가설에 기반한 설문 항목의 제작과 수행, 평가, 수정을 통해 두 집단의 장소성 인식과 행태의 차이를 파악하고 장소성이 형성된 구체적인 이유를 찾는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 파악하기 위한 조사 방법으로 현장답사, 설문조사, 통계분석, 그리고 심층면담을 수행하였다. 그 후 혼합연구방법 이용하여 앞서 조사된 설문에 기반한 정량적 통계 분석을 중심으로 데이터를 분석하고, 심층 면담과 서술식 설문에 기반한 정성적 분석으로 자료를 구체적으로 보완하였다. 이를 통해 데이터의 오류를 조정하고 연구의 신뢰도를 높여 결과 해석의 타당성을 부여하고자 하였다. 정리하자면, 형성 요인을 객관적으로 분석할 수 있도록 대상지에 특화된 가설과 변인의 설정을 통해 집단의 특질과 그로부터 발생하는 장소성 형성 요인, 그리고 그 결과로 표출되는 이미지와 향후 행동의 차이가 서로 인과관계가 있다고 보고 이에 대한 조사와 해석 방법을 제시함으로서 분석의 틀을 제시하고자 하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 또한, 장소성을 형성하는 요인에 있어 내국인과 외국인 집단을 비교함으로써 공통점과 차이점을 발견하고 이를 통해 연구 대상 지역만이 지닐 수 있는 호혜적이고 발전적인 도시계획을 수립할 수 있는 기초연구 자료가 될 수 있다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

This study was conducted focusing on a comparative analysis of the factors of place formation between groups in areas where foreigners are concentrated and future behavior. Garibong-dong, Guro-gu, Seoul, was selected as a specific research target for this, and the two groups, Koreans and Chinese compatriots with distinct characteristics, drew differences in the factors of place formation according to the origins of each group member. The study aims to identify the difference in place perception and behavior between the two groups and to find specific reasons for the formation of placeability through the production, performance, evaluation, and correction of questionnaire items based on the initial hypothesis. Field surveys, surveys, statistical analysis, and in-depth interviews were performed as survey methods to understand this. After that, the data were analyzed focusing on quantitative statistical analysis based on the previously investigated survey using the mixed research method, and the data were specifically supplemented by qualitative analysis based on in-depth interviews and descriptive surveys. Through this, it was intended to adjust the errors of the data and increase the reliability of the study to give validity to the interpretation of the results. In summary, it is meaningful to present a framework for analysis by presenting an investigation and interpretation method, believing that the characteristics of the group and the resulting placeability forming factors, and the resulting differences in image and future behavior are causally related to each other. In addition, it is meaningful in that it can be a basic research data that can find commonalities and differences by comparing domestic and foreign groups in the factors that form placeability and thus establish reciprocal and developmental urban planning that only the study target area can have.
